Do you build modular homes in NZ?
Yes, the Modspace factory is in Northland, New Zealand.
Our designs range from compact 1-bed Modspace homes to larger 2-bed homes and accessory buildings.
All Modspace homes are factory-built, then delivered as transportable buildings to your site.
Do transportable homes need building consent in NZ?
Most transportable homes in NZ require a building consent. Some will qualify to use the new “Granny Flat” exemption if it is a secondary dwelling.
Modspace can advise what would be required on your specific site. Consents are lodged with your local council, and the council will issue a Code Compliance Certificate after completion.
Our modular transportable homes are built to meet the New Zealand Building Code, and already come with the council sign-off for the building.
